Senior Court of Protection Solicitor - Legal 500 Firm - Berkshire

A highly regarded Legal 500 firm in Berkshire is seeking a Senior Court of Protection Solicitor to join its specialist team. The Role

From a recruitment perspective, this position offers a varied and rewarding caseload, including:

• Managing a range of Court of Protection matters, including deputyship applications and ongoing administration
• Acting for vulnerable clients and advising on financial management, care arrangements, and capacity issues
• Handling high-value cases, often involving clients with serious injuries or complex needs
• Liaising with families, case managers, medical professionals, and other third parties
• Preparing applications, reports, and correspondence for the Court of Protection
• Supervising and mentoring junior team members
• Supporting the wider private client or clinical negligence teams where appropriate

About You

• Qualified Solicitor with strong experience in Court of Protection work
• Excellent understanding of mental capacity law and related procedures
• Confident managing complex cases independently
• Strong communication and client care skills, with a sensitive and empathetic approach
• Experience supervising or mentoring junior staff is advantageous
• Ambitious and keen to progress within a leading firm
