We build, operate and maintain onsite, large-scale energy assets like Solar PV and Combined Heat and Power - to help businesses to save the planet and save money. We're also transforming the UK's energy landscape by partnering with landowners and developers to build a 900MW portfolio of new grid-scale solar farms and battery storage assets.

Length of Placement: 12-month Fixed Term Contract with significant potential to roll off into a Permanent role

This programme is designed to support you as you transition into a new career. Whether you're leaving the Armed Forces or finishing an elite sporting career, we welcome the experience, discipline and resilience you bring. You'll gain hands on experience in a FTSE100 organisation, receive tailored support, and join a community that values who you are and what you can offer. We have five placement roles available, and the Change Delivery Manager role is one of them

What you'll do:
As a Change Delivery Manager, you'll work at pace, learn fast and contribute to meaningful transformation work across Centrica. It's an exciting role and no two days will be the same
During your placement, you will:
- Work within our Transformation Team on strategic change initiatives
- Develop, own and implement change management approaches
- Convert approaches into a comprehensive change plan that includes communications, engagement, and training needs to enable maximum adoption
- Provide regular and impactful updates, insights, and recommendations using a range of tools
- Translate technical or complex transformation concepts into clear, accessible messaging
- Facilitate effective engagement sessions e.g. workshops, briefings, market stalls, to support change awareness and buy-in
- Support teams in developing the capability and confidence needed to operate new processes, systems, or behaviours
- Partner with colleagues and stakeholders to coordinate change activities
- Build strong networks across the business
- Create and maintain change artefacts (e.g. impact logs, readiness assessments, risk logs, stakeholder maps, Value Realisation Plan)

We're looking for potential, not perfection. You don't need to meet every requirement to apply:
We'd love to see:
- Experience delivering end-to-end change or complex projects
- Skills in service design, process improvement or project management
- Strong stakeholder engagement, influencing, communication and storytelling skills
- Confidence with digital tools and problem solving
- Experience with analysis (process, gap or requirements)
- Ability to develop others and take ownership when change isn't landing
- Desirable familiarity with frameworks such as ADKAR, Scrum or Waterfall.
Who the programme is for. This placement is open to:
- Military Service Leavers: leaving the Forces or within the 2-year CTP window after service at application
- Elite Athletes: international competition experience and/or professional UK sports experience within the last 3 years
- Real project & transformation experience in a FTSE100 organisation
- £50,000 salary for the 12-month placement
- A dedicated mentor to help you build commercial skills
- Flexible working and travel to office locations when collaboration is needed

- For Service Leavers: the chance to begin placement during your final four resettlement weeks

- Screening Interviews - online: Will take place in June - mid July
- Business Area Interviews - face to face: July and August at one of our office locations
- Placement Start Date: You must be able to start on Wednesday 30th September
