Sales Account Manager – New Business & Alternative Products  Are you sat on a book of supplier or customer relationships that nobody else is properly using yet? And are you the type who'd rather build something from a blank sheet of paper than manage someone else's existing accounts? We're recruiting on behalf of an established, well-known Norfolk food business looking to diversify into new product territory. This isn't a traditional account management role — it's a build-and-trade role. You'll be given the platform, the support and the backing of an established business, but the revenue, the customers and the product range will be down to you to create. What you'll be doing Bringing your own portable customer and/or supplier relationships into a new environment Sourcing and developing new product lines from scratch (outside the business's core category) Building supply chains and taking products to market Winning new business through your own personal relationships, not an inherited pipeline Owning margin and profitability on everything you build Who this will suit A background in food trading, wholesale, or import/export A genuine track record of building revenue from zero, not just growing an existing book Experience on both sides — sourcing product and selling it Someone commercial, autonomous and opportunity-led, comfortable without a script Who this won't suit Retail National Account Managers Corporate FMCG sales profiles used to structure and process Anyone who wants an existing account base to manage rather than build Package: £Fantastic salary + bonus scheme, dependent on experience and what you can genuinely bring with you.
