£100k - £120k + above-industry commission

I’m working with a London-based design and build fit-out business who are looking for a Pre-Construction Lead to take charge of projects from £1m to £8m across both Cat A & Cat B.

We’ve worked with this business a lot over the last couple of years, so we know the pre-con team, how they operate and the type of projects they deliver. They’ve got a great culture, a really nice office and some brilliant projects going through the business.

They’re off to a great start this year and need someone who can come in, manage multiple projects and lead from the front.

Day to day, you’ll take the reins on multiple projects through pre-con, from pitching and costing through to negotiating contracts and dealing with the supply chain. You’ll be the person driving the process, keeping everything moving and making sure the team are putting their best foot forward on every opportunity.

This isn’t just about managing your own workload either. They want someone who can naturally start to lead the wider pre-con team, get the best out of good people and help continue to improve how they operate.

The progression is probably the biggest selling point.

Whether it happens straight away, once you’ve settled in or after you’ve had time to get up and running, there’s a clear route into a Head of Pre-Construction position. They want someone who can grow into managing the team rather than bringing somebody in above them further down the line. xwzovoh

What they’re looking for:

• Strong pre-construction experience within commercial fit-out

• Experience across both Cat A & Cat B projects

• Comfortable running multiple projects between £1m and £8m

• Confident pitching and presenting to clients

• Strong costing and commercial understanding

• Experience negotiating contracts

• Good relationships and understanding of the supply chain

• Someone who can lead from the front and get the best out of a strong team

• Ambition to step into a Head of Pre-Construction role
