- September 2026 Start Academics, Canterbury are currently working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive secondary school in Canterbury who are seeking to appoint a qualified Teacher of Religious Education to join their team on a full-time basis from September 2026.
This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable RE teacher to inspire students and contribute to a supportive and forward-thinking Humanities department.
The Role Full-time Teacher of Religious Education/Religious Studies September 2026 start Teaching RE across Key Stages 3 and 4 (Key Stage 5 experience desirable) Delivering engaging and thought-provoking lessons Encouraging critical thinking, discussion and respect for different beliefs and cultures Supporting students to achieve strong academic outcomes Working collaboratively within an established Humanities department The Ideal Candidate Will Have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Experience teaching within UK secondary schools Strong classroom management and subject knowledge A passion for Religious Education and student achievement The ability to engage and motivate learners of all abilities The School xwzovoh Offers A supportive and inclusive working environment Opportunities for ongoing professional development Motivated and respectful students A dedicated and approachable leadership team Convenient access from across Canterbury and East Kent Whether you are an experienced teacher or an ambitious early career teacher with relevant UK teaching experience, we would love to hear from you.
