Thrive Education are currently working in partnership with a 2 Form Entry primary school in Widnes who are looking to appoint an experienced and enthusiastic Early Years Teacher to join their specialist resource provision.
This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher with a strong understanding of the Early Years curriculum who is looking to work in a supportive school environment and make a real difference to children with additional needs.
The successful candidate will work within a small resource provision, providing a highly supportive and nurturing learning environment tailored to the individual needs of the children.
The Role
* Teaching within an Early Years resource provision
* Planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons and activities
* Having a strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum and early childhood development
* Creating a nurturing, inclusive and stimulating learning environment
* Adapting learning to meet a range of individual needs
* Supporting children's communication, social, emotional and academic development
* Working closely with support staff, school leaders and external professionals
* Building strong relationships with children, parents and colleagues
* Maintaining high expectations while recognising and responding to individual needs
The Successful Candidate
The school are looking for a teacher who has:
* Extensive knowledge and experience of the Early Years curriculum
* Experience working with children with additional needs, ideally within a resource provision or specialist setting
* Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
* The ability to differentiate and personalise learning effectively
* A nurturing, patient and child-centred approach
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* A passion for helping children achieve their full potential
