Operations Manager – QSR
London (Field-Based)
Up to £60,000 + bonus + benefits
Overview
We're working with a fast-growing, founder lead and well-loved hospitality QSR business in London that's built its reputation the right way great product, high standards, and teams who care.
They've grown from a single site into a multi-site operation with 8 locations and a delivery kitchen, and they're now at that interesting stage where things need tightening, not just scaling.
This isn't a “sit in head office and review dashboards” kind of role. It's very much a field-based, sleeves-rolled-up Operations Manager position someone who enjoys being in sites, working with people, and making things better in real time.
You'll be joining a business where standards matter, culture is lived (not laminated), and no two days look the same.
The role
Reporting into the Operations Director, you'll take ownership of 4–6 sites across London, working closely with General Managers and site teams to keep everything running smoothly and improving.
You'll be the kind of person who knows what “good” looks like, spots when it's slipping, and steps in early enough to fix it without drama.
Day to day, you'll be:
Spending time in sites, coaching, supporting, and setting the tone
Working closely with General Managers to raise performance and consistency
Helping teams reset when things aren't quite where they should be
Making sure standards are consistent across food, service, and operations
Keeping communication flowing between sites and leadership
Turning issues into action (not just reports and meetings about them)
Supporting internal development and helping grow future leaders
The commercial side (the bit that matters)
You'll also need to be comfortable with the numbers — this is hospitality, after all.
Labour, stock, and cost control across multiple sites
Weekly KPI reviews with General Managers
Understanding what drives profit (and what quietly eats it)
Making sure systems are being used properly, not just “ticked”
Helping sites stay commercially sharp without overcomplicating things
What kind of person fits here
We're not looking for perfect CVs we're looking for someone solid, switched on, and grounded in operations.
You'll likely have:
2+ years in a multi-site or area ops role
Experience in QSR, fast casual, food lead.
Led General Managers or senior site teams before
A strong understanding of operations + commercial basics
A calm, practical leadership style (not overly corporate, not chaotic either)
The ability to walk into a site and quickly earn trust
A bias for action you doesn't just observe problems, you fix them
This will suit someone who's already in multi-site ops and wants a bit more ownership, variety, and visibility. xwzovoh
The environment
The business is in a really interesting phase established enough to be stable, but still actively improving how it operates.
That means:
Systems are being refined, not fully finished
Standards are high, but always being pushed higher
Teams are experienced, but still developing in places
Change is normal not occasional
It's a proper “build and improve” environment rather than a static one.
What success looks like
If this goes well, you'll:
Have strong, trusted relationships with your GMs
Bring calm structure across multiple busy sites
Improve consistency without over-engineering things
Raise the overall standard of operations in your area
Help develop the next wave of strong internal leaders
Be genuinely felt across the business (in a good way)
The package
Up to £60,000 salary
Quarterly bonus linked to site performance
Additional annual bonus (up to 10%)
Travelcard (Zones 1–3)
22 days holiday + bank holidays
Private healthcare
Enhanced parental leave
Sick pay
Free meals on shift + 50% friends & family discount
Access to wellbeing and financial support tools
Ongoing development and leadership training
