We’re seeking an experienced Deputy General Manager to join a prestigious luxury hotel and spa in Newmarket.

Ideal for a hospitality professional with experience in an AA Rosette restaurant or Red Star hotel, this is an exciting opportunity to help lead a high-performing team and deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Working closely with the Chief Executive, you’ll drive standards, maximise revenue and ensure the smooth running of the hotel and spa.

The Role

Support the Chief Executive in leading the overall operation.
Oversee multiple departments, particularly Food & Beverage and Front of House.
Maintain exceptional service standards and guest satisfaction.
Drive revenue, manage budgets and control costs.
Lead, develop and motivate Heads of Department and wider teams.
Manage guest feedback, complaints and service recovery.
Oversee Health & Safety, compliance and operational standards.

About You

You’ll be a confident, hands-on leader with a passion for luxury hospitality.

Ideally, you’ll have:

Previous experience in a senior hotel management role.
A background in an AA Rosette or Red Star property.

Strong knowledge of hotel operations, particularly Food & Beverage.
Experience in team leadership, P&L management and budgeting.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
A commercial mindset and exceptional attention to detail.
