Pipefitter

We are looking for a Pipefitter to work a day shift, Monday to Friday for our client in Leeds, initially for around 6 months but a possibility to be extended for longer. A night shift is also available if preferred.

The role will involve the fabrication of various sizes from small bore up to 2'pipe in various materials such as stainless steel, carbon steel & duplex. You must be confident with fabrication of pipe as will have to bend and form all pipe ready for welding according to the ISO drawings. You will be used to working with electrical bending equipment and reading / understanding ISO's and must be confident with completing specific paperwork in line with the company process. Overtime is available and paid at time and a half after 37 hours worked and double time for Sundays.

Ideally, you will be an apprentice trained Pipefitter with previous experience within a similar role working for an engineering / manufacturing business that has connections to the Oil & Gas sector. This role is workshop based, the option of being paid Umbrella is available. You will be working in a comfortable work environment, have free parking and access to a subsidised canteen and gym. If Paye you will receive 33 days holiday per annum. Dig allowance is also available for candidates over 50 miles from site. Good rates of pay and a quarterly bonus of £1000 (paid every 3 months).
