Project Manager (Estimator / Buyer)
Chertsey, Surrey, KT16
Office based, Monday to Friday, 8am – 5pm.
£25,000 to £30,000 per year, depending on experience
20 days holiday, pension after qualifying period
Please note: you must be authorised to work in the UK
Our client is a well-established, family-run business delivering high-quality signage and related products across a wide range of sectors, including Facilities Management, MOD, education, local government, healthcare, construction and transport.
They offer a complete end-to-end service, from initial site surveys and design through to manufacture and installation, covering signage, line marking, traffic solutions and safety systems.
About the Project Manager role:
Working within the existing team, you will manage all enquiries, quotations and proposals through to final invoice.
Your responsibilities will include:
Taking enquires for customers and sales executives
Pro-actively looking for new client opportunities
Liaising with customers
Sourcing products, negotiating prices with suppliers
Securing contracts and agreeing terms with client (support from managment)
Raising purchase orders with suppliers Agreeing delivery dates to suit our client requirements
Project management Site Surveys
Artwork (client approval)
Arranging installation & confirm site is ready
Risk Assessments & Method Statements for Installation
O & M Manuals once works are complete
Seeing customer orders through to final stage of invoicing
About you:
You will be confident an hard-working, with good communication and negotiating skills.
Full understanding of MS office and good typing skills – Essential
Previous experience of working in a similar industry and position – Advantage
Buying and project management experience – Advantage
Salary & Benefits:
£25,000 to £30,000 (Reviewed initially at 6 months and annually thereafter)
20 days holiday + bank holidays
Pension after qualifying period
