Electrical Tester - Rolling Stock

Job title: Electrical Test Technician Job location: Derby, Derbyshire Hourly pay rate: £28.44 Days/£30.75 Morn/£33.05 Afters (Umbrella) Shifts: Days, Mornings and Afters Hours per week: 37 hours a week + O/T Duration: 12 Months+ (predicted) Start date: ASAP Industries considered: RAF, Rail, Rolling Stock, REME, Army, Navy, Marine, Avionics, Rolling Stock, Commercial/Industrial Electrics, Defence, Plant Engineering, SPM, HVAC, and Process Engineering. Client Summary: Our client is a global leader in Rolling Stock vehicle manufacturing. Position Summary: The role is geared around Fault finding and diagnosing of train systems including TPWS (Train protection and Warning Systems), AWS (Automatic Warning Systems), PIS (Passenger Information Systems), Traction, braking, doors, radios, CCTVs, HVAC units DOO (Driver only operations systems) and MVB (communication network system). Ensure trains leave the site fully tested with no quality defects.
