Skilled Carpenter – Fire Door Maintenance & Installation (Self-Employed) Location: London (Primarily Central London) Job Type: Full-Time (Monday to Friday) Contract: Self-Employed Approximately £45,000 per year - self employed basis We are looking for an experienced and reliable Skilled Carpenter to join our growing team, specialising in fire door maintenance, remedial works, and fire door installations across London, with the majority of our work based in Central London. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated carpenter who takes pride in producing high-quality work, understands the importance of fire safety compliance, and is looking for consistent, full-time work with an established company. Carry out fire door installations to a high standard. Complete fire door maintenance, repairs, and remedial works. Ensure all work complies with current fire safety regulations and industry best practices. Understand and work in accordance with BM TRADA fire door installation and maintenance requirements. Complete job documentation and communicate effectively with the office team. Proven carpentry experience, ideally with a strong background in fire doors. Solid understanding of BM TRADA scheme requirements and fire door compliance standards. Experience installing, maintaining, and repairing fire doors. Excellent spoken English and strong communication skills. High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Own a full set of professional carpentry tools. Full UK driving licence preferred. Safety-conscious and quality-focused. Looking for a long-term opportunity with regular, consistent work. Full-time work, Monday to Friday. Projects located primarily across Central London. Self-employed position with earnings of approximately £45,000 per year . Opportunity to work on a variety of commercial projects.
