Plant / HGV Engineer Witham Area - Salary from £20+ per hour DOE - Workshop-Based - Family-Run Business Holt Recruitment is working on behalf of a successful family-run asphalt company who are looking to add an experienced Plant / HGV Engineer to their team. This is a genuinely varied, hands-on role which is primarily workshop based, working across a range of plant machinery, HGVs and associated asphalt equipment. You’ll be responsible for keeping machinery and vehicles maintained, carrying out repairs and fault-finding, as well as getting involved with welding and fabrication when required. The Role: Primarily workshop-based, maintaining a varied range of plant, HGVs and equipment Routine servicing, maintenance and mechanical repairs Fault-finding and diagnostics Welding and fabrication work Working on a variety of machinery and equipment, making this a genuinely varied role Occasional work outside of the workshop when required Supporting the day-to-day running and reliability of the company’s fleetThe Person: Previous experience working on plant, HGVs or similar heavy equipment Strong mechanical knowledge and practical repair skills Welding/fabrication experience would be highly beneficial HGV Licence desirable but not essential A reliable, hands-on engineer who enjoys working on a variety of equipmentSalary & Benefits: £20+ per hour DOE Van + fuel card provided after successful probation period for commuting Stable position within a well-established family-run business Varied workload with plenty of hands-on engineering Long-term opportunity with a friendly teamIf you're a Plant or HGV Engineer looking for a primarily workshop-based role with a varied workload and a family-run business, get in touch with David at Holt Recruitment on (phone number removed) for more information.
