Motor Vehicle Mechanic, Fast-Fit Technician, MOT Tester

Overview: We are currently seeking a skilled Motor Mechanic, Fast Fit Technician and MOT Tester to join our team in ensuring the safety and roadworthiness of vehicles. As an MOT Tester, you will play a crucial role in conducting thorough vehicle inspections and tests to meet regulatory standards.

Responsibilities:- Mechanics will have a good knowledge of a variety vehicle repairs and working knowledge of vehicle diagnostic tools. Interpret schematics to diagnose vehicle issues accurately- Apply mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and rectify faults. Fast Fit Technicians will have experience in a variety of vehicle repairs and diagnostic tools. MOT Tester will perform MOT tests on vehicles in compliance with DVSA regulations- Identify and report any vehicle defects or issues- Repair, assemble, and maintain equipment used for testing- Provide exceptional customer service by explaining test results clearly to customers.

Skills:- Proficient in equipment repair, assembly, and maintenance- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively- Competent in using power tools and hand tools for automotive tasks- Familiar with reading and interpreting schematics for diagnostics- Strong mechanical knowledge to identify and resolve vehicle issues- Capable of heavy lifting during testing and repairs- Skilled in welding techniques for necessary repairs
