Mechanical & Electrical Estimator 📍 Central London 💰 Up to £70,000 + Comprehensive Package 📅 Start Date: August 2026 An established and highly respected London contractor is seeking an experienced Mechanical & Electrical Estimator to join its growing Pre-Construction team. This is an excellent opportunity for an agile, adaptable and personable estimator looking to join a stable business with an outstanding reputation, long-standing client relationships and a diverse portfolio of refurbishment and fit-out projects across London. The Role You will be responsible for preparing competitive tenders for M&E projects ranging from £100k to £3m, working closely with operational teams, suppliers and subcontractors throughout the tender process. Key responsibilities include: Producing detailed estimates and tender submissions • Carrying out take-offs from drawings and specifications • Producing first principles estimates • Obtaining and analysing supplier and subcontractor quotations • Supporting value engineering exercises • Working closely with building estimators on integrated bids • Attending site visits and surveys where requiredAbout You Minimum 5 years' experience as an M&E Estimator • Experience delivering commercial refurbishment or fit-out projects • Strong first principles estimating experience • Knowledge of JCT and NEC contracts • Excellent commercial awareness and communication skills • Able to manage multiple tenders and deadlines simultaneouslyThis is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative and well-established business offering long-term career prospects and a strong pipeline of work.
