Salary: £34,500 - £38,500 plus car allowance
At Evri, safety, compliance and operational excellence are at the heart of our transport operation. We're looking for a Transport Development Auditor to join our Transport Development Team on a 6-month fixed-term contract, helping to drive high standards across our UK network.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced transport professional to work with sites across the business, influencing compliance, improving performance and supporting best practice. You'll work closely with operational leaders, helping to shape transport standards while making a real impact on road safety and compliance across one of the UK's largest parcel delivery networks.
What you'll be doing As a key member of the Transport Development Team, you'll support our sites through a programme of transport audits, reviews and compliance activities.
Your responsibilities will include:
Conducting transport audits across the Evri network to ensure compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements.
Preparing for audits using company systems and carrying out on-site reviews where required.
Reviewing Earned Recognition standards to support audit readiness.
Producing clear audit reports, highlighting findings, recommendations and areas for improvement.
Presenting outcomes and action plans to site management and operational leadership teams.
Maintaining accurate audit records in line with DVSA and ISO requirements.
Identifying opportunities for training, development and continuous improvement.
Supporting wider Transport Development projects and initiatives.
Keeping up to date with industry legislation, compliance requirements and best practice.
Working collaboratively with sites to drive positive behaviours, improved standards and operational excellence.
What you'll bring Experience within a transport, fleet, compliance or operational environment.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
The ability to analyse data, identify trends and provide practical recommendations.
Experience driving process improvement and supporting operational change.
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
Confidence using Microsoft Office applications.
A proactive approach with the ability to work independently across multiple locations.
Desirable:
CPC qualification or relevant transport management experience.
Knowledge of Operator Licence requirements and transport compliance legislation.
Experience using TachoMaster or similar transport management systems.
Experience delivering training, coaching or development activities.
