About The Team

The Channel & Customer Research (CCR) team works hand‑in‑hand with our Directed Content and 1x1 Call Services groups to provide timely channel checks and voice‑of‑customer interviews. We deliver scalable primary research that offers real‑time insight into company performance and industry conditions across priority verticals.

About The Role

Associate researchers are the execution engine for our Channel and Customer Research offering.

  • Map the expert universe for assigned verticals
  • Source and vet high‑value channel partners and customers
  • Build long‑term relationships with key channel sources
  • Coordinate and monitor interviewsForm sector expertise through regular research to stay up‑to‑date on industry trends and news
  • Proficient German speaking (C1/C2 level)

What You’ll Do

  • Expert Sourcing & Outreach: Drive email, phone, and LinkedIn campaigns to recruit best‑fit experts; negotiate honoraria that balance insight value with cost discipline.
  • Screening & Onboarding: Conduct vetting calls to confirm role, recency, and perspective; ensure compliance with AlphaSense and client guidelines.
  • Landscape Research: Develop and maintain target lists of distributors, resellers, customers, and other market participants aligned to quarterly coverage priorities.
  • Interview Guide Creation: Build and maintain interview guides for each call type, industry sector, and expert profile.
  • Interview Facilitation: Schedule sessions at optimal times; monitor calls, troubleshoot tech issues, and capture real‑time highlights.
  • Quality & Compliance: Uphold data‑privacy standards and maintain accurate records in internal CRM and workflow tools.
  • Continuous Improvement: Share feedback on talk tracks, sourcing tactics, and emerging themes to refine playbooks and coverage roadmap.
