Finance Officer - Housing

URGENT CONTRACT ROLE - INCOME FINANCE OFFICER | WEST LONDON | £20PH I'm currently working with a well-regarded London local authority who are looking to appoint an Income Finance Officer on an initial contract basis. This role would suit someone with experience in: ✔️ Rent arrears recovery ✔️ Income collection / credit control ✔️ Housing income management ✔️ Tenancy sustainment ✔️ Local authority or housing association environments Key responsibilities include: * Managing rent and accommodation charge arrears * Supporting residents with payment arrangements and benefit claims * Reducing arrears whilst maintaining a customer-focused approach * Legal escalation, notices and court-related processes * Liaising with legal teams, support agencies and housing colleagues * Monitoring customer accounts and maintaining accurate records The successful candidate will ideally have: 🔹 Experience within social housing, local authority or housing associations 🔹 Strong customer communication skills 🔹 Experience handling sensitive or vulnerable cases 🔹 Ability to balance collections with tenancy support 🔹 Knowledge of arrears recovery and income management processes Approx. £20ph West London / Hybrid Contract role Immediate interviews available If interested, please apply or message me directly for further details.
