Lead Construction Manager

Lead Electrical Construction Manager London, UK (On-site) About the Role Our client is seeking an experienced Lead Electrical Construction Manager to oversee the delivery of major electrical and MEP projects in London. Reporting to the Project Manager, you will lead site teams, manage subcontractors, drive project programmes, and ensure works are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. Key Responsibilities * Lead and coordinate all electrical construction activities on site. * Manage construction teams, supervisors, subcontractors, and suppliers. * Oversee procurement, materials, labour, and project schedules. * Monitor progress and provide updates to senior management. * Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and health & safety requirements. * Support design reviews, technical submissions, commissioning, and project handovers. * Attend client and project meetings and resolve construction challenges. * Mentor junior site management staff where required. Requirements * Degree or trade-qualified in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline. * Proven experience as a Lead Construction Manager, Construction Manager, or Senior Electrical Site Manager. * Experience delivering large-scale electrical or MEP construction projects. * Strong knowledge of site operations, project planning, procurement, and commissioning. * Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills. * Data centre, pharmaceutical, commercial, or industrial project experience is desirable.
