Priory Hospital Southampton £36,176 per annum/A 20% enhancement is available for hours worked during night shifts Full Time - 37.5 Hours Priory Hospital Southampton is looking to recruit a Mental Health Nurse to join the team.  Priory Hospital Southampton, Marchwood, Southampton is a residential mental health service providing acute and eating disorder care for adult males and females. It is accessible by public transport, with a bus stop at the end of the access road and Totton railway station approximately 5 miles away, with Redbridge station around 7 miles away. In this role, you will play a key part in patient recovery, supporting the assessment and delivery of tailored treatment plans while ensuring dignity, respect, and high standards of care. You will work effectively as a valued member of the Multi-Disciplinary Team, promoting the best interests of clients and their carers while ensuring prescribed nursing care is delivered safely and effectively. You will be responsible for maintaining a safe and supportive care environment, exercising professional accountability and responsibility, and using your nursing skills, knowledge and expertise to respond effectively to changing environments. You will work within the scope of your professional practice and maintain high standards of care at all times. Qualified Registered Mental Health Nurse with active NMC registration. Minimum of 6-12 months post-registration experience working within a mental health care environment.  Good understanding of NMC guidelines, requirements and professional standards.  Evidence of ongoing Continuing Professional Development (CPD).  Positive attitude with a commitment to change, improvement and delivering high-quality care.  Ability to work flexibly and use innovative approaches to care.
