Based in our Bridgend office, you’ll join a flexible team and work across multiple sectors to support exciting projects.We are currently looking for a Senior Civil Engineer - Design who will be responsible for the technical design delivery of a portfolio of small projects or of a larger project.As the Senior Civil Engineer - Design, you will:Prepare outline & detailed civil/structural design in accordance with the relevant design standardsPrepare clear and well-structured design calculations, reports, drawings and other deliverablesProvide technical support/mentoring of Engineers, Graduate Engineers and Technicians and brief and coordinate the work of others to ensure the timely and technically robust delivery of project scope.Work collaboratively with clients, contractors and the supply chain to understand and develop project objectives.We are looking for:Degree in Civil Engineering or suitable alternative qualification.Chartered membership of an appropriate professional body, or working towards.Good working knowledge, understanding and experience of the applicable Eurocodes, UK Industry Codes of Practice and ability to mentor and manage others.Experienced in structural design using common building materials.UK/EEC driving licence.Technical design experience on multi-disciplinary projects.What we offer:24/7 digital GP service for you and your familyFinancial wellbeing and employee assistanceProfessional developmentEnhanced family benefits (including maternity, paternity, dependants and parental bereavement leave)Inclusion and Diversity We thrive through embracing differences as we know that diversity opens a rich potential for new ways of thinking, helping us to build successful and high-performing teams.
