Main ResponsibilitiesDelivery ManagementResponsible for the end to end delivery of projects that Solirius is engaged withFor supporting and advising day to day activities of the teamFacilitating key team events/ceremoniesResponsible for monitoring spend, reporting progress and tracking team velocityTracking risks, issues, assumptions, dependenciesResponsible for clearing hurdles for the team to ensure that there is a clear path for development and deliveryEnsuring successful collaboration within the team and within the wider project/programmeWorking with and engaging stakeholders with the delivery teamChampioning best practice methodologies across the team and each disciplineExemplifying positive customer focussed behaviour.Responsible for acting as the assignment manager for the Solirius team on the client site.Account ManagementResponsible for building and maintaining relationships with our clients and delivering value to themFinancial management of client accountsServe as key point of contact for assigned client(s)Act as the Client subject matter expertDevelop actionable plans to balance client’s short/long term goalsManage and report on overall financial success of the account (s) that you are responsible forResourcing for client accountsIdentifying new opportunities for Solirius to operate in and contribute to bidding for new workSpecialist skills required We want people with:A background in Agile Delivery across the whole lifecycle of technical projects/service developmentA strong experience in Agile scrum methodologies and delivering software in Agile teamsPrevious experience and/or qualifications as a Scrum Master would be beneficial.Experience of Delivery Management in the public sector, in accordance with GDS standardsExcellent communication skills, both written and spoken word with an ability to successfully engage with clients, managers and stakeholders at all levels within a businessExperience of scaled agile methodologies, e.g. SAFe, LeSS etcExperience in building relationships with people and ensuring we deliver value to our clientsAgile coaching experience would be helpfulExperience of supporting and developing peopleSelf awareness and high Emotional IntelligenceExperience in maintaining and reporting on budgetsWorking with clientsWe are looking for experienced Delivery Consultants, who have delivered agile projects. You will need to be a great leader of people, able to motivate and engage people to deliver excellence for our customers. You will need to have experience of working with a wide variety of stakeholders and have experience of delivery projects from inception through to adoption.In addition to working as a Delivery Consultant, you will also be required to act as an Account Manager and/or Assignment Manager on client accountsBroader TeamYou'll be expected to work with the whole team. This means working with developers, UXdesigners, senior managers, senior stakeholders - in fact anyone we need you to, to produce great digital products for our clients.Delivery TeamWithin Solirius, you will be responsible for helping us to develop the delivery managementpractice. This will involve attracting other delivery experts/talent to join our team and to contribute to bids for new work. We want to create digital services that our clients and their customers prefer to use over other channels, and the delivery practice is fundamental to that desire.About you..We are looking for people who have a background in critical thinking, enjoy tackling different problems in a structured way and are highly motivated self-starters. Our consultants should have great interpersonal and communication skills and a strong desire to deliver the best possible solutions for our clients.Our team is our strongest asset, you will be an excellent team player who recognises the strength of the team as a whole and can find their role within the Solirius team. Candidates should be open to working in different locations with different clients. As an account Manager you may be required to travel to multiple locations to meet with clients.
