Asbestos Removal Manager 📍 Hertfordshire / Home Counties 🕒 Full-time | Permanent About the Role We are seeking an experienced and motivated Asbestos Removal Manager to oversee and manage licensed asbestos removal works from start to finish. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and in full compliance with current legislation and HSE guidance. Key Responsibilities * Manage licensed asbestos removal projects from planning through to completion * Ensure full compliance with HSE regulations, ACOP L143, and internal procedures * Prepare and review plans of work, risk assessments, and method statements * Liaise with clients, analysts, site teams, and enforcing authorities as required * Oversee site supervisors and operatives, ensuring high standards of workmanship * Monitor health & safety performance and implement corrective actions where needed * Manage project schedules, resources, and budgets * Conduct site inspections, audits, and toolbox talks Requirements * Proven experience managing licensed asbestos removal works * Strong knowledge of asbestos legislation and HSE guidance * Relevant asbestos qualifications (e.g. BOHS P405 or equivalent) * SMSTS or SSSTS qualification desirable * Excellent organisational, leadership, and communication skills * Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously * Full UK driving licence What’s on Offer * Competitive salary dependent on experience * Company vehicle (where applicable) * Ongoing training and professional development * Supportive and professional working environment
