Warehouse Admin Team Leader

to join their National Distribution Centre in Walsall. This is an excellent opportunity for a supervisor or team leader who enjoys leading people, driving operational performance, improving processes, and ensuring the smooth running of critical warehouse administration functions. This is not a traditional office-based administration role. We're looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced operational environment and can successfully balance people leadership, process control, compliance, and system-driven administration. The Role Reporting to the Operations Management Team, you will lead a small warehouse administration team responsible for ensuring all operational transactions, inventory movements, and system activities are completed accurately and efficiently. You will play a key role in supporting operational performance through effective leadership, process management, compliance, and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Lead, coach and develop the warehouse administration team Manage daily administrative activities supporting warehouse operations Monitor team performance, attendance and productivity Ensure all system transactions are processed accurately and on time Support warehouse performance through effective KPI management and reporting Drive a safety-first culture and ensure compliance with company procedures Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy Support change initiatives and continuous improvement projects Work closely with operational, planning and wider support teams to ensure service delivery targets are achieved Conduct investigations, root cause analysis and corrective actions where required What We're Looking For Essential Previous experience within a warehouse, logistics, manufacturing or distribution environment Experience in a Team Leader, Supervisor or similar leadership role Strong people management and performance management capability Experience managing administrative processes within an operational setting Working knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and ERP systems Strong communication and organisational skills A proactive, hands-on approach with excellent problem-solving ability Ability to lead by example and motivate a team operating at pace Desirable Microsoft Dynamics 365 experience Lean, Continuous Improvement or Operational Excellence experience Manufacturing or distribution sector experience Exposure to KPI-driven operational environments The Ideal Candidate You'll be someone who enjoys being at the centre of the operation rather than behind a desk all day.
