Cyberoptics AOI Operator Location: PeterboroughPay Rate: £12.71 per hourHours:Monday to Thursday: 8:00am – 5:15pmFriday: 8:00am – 1:00pmWe are currently recruiting for an Electronics Inspector Operator to join a well-established electronics manufacturing company based in Peterborough .This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in electronics assembly or quality inspection who is looking for stable hours and early finishes on Fridays.Operate Cyberoptics equipment to inspect PCB assembliesIdentify defects such as missing or misaligned components, solder faults, and polarity issuesReview AOI images and make pass/fail decisions in line with quality standardsAccurately record inspection results and maintain inspection reportsCommunicate findings clearly with production, quality, and engineering teamsSupport continuous improvement by highlighting recurring defects or process issuesRequirements:Background in electronics assembly, ideally with Surface Mount Technology (SMT) experienceExperience using AOI systems is desirableComputer literate with a working knowledge of Excel and WordGood communication skills , both written and verbalStrong attention to detailAbility to problem-solve and think criticallySelf-motivated and able to work under pressureComfortable working independently and as part of a teamUnderstanding of IPC-A-610 would be an advantageWhat's on Offer:Competitive hourly rate of £12.71 per hourStable, full-time hoursEarly finish every FridaySupportive working environmentOpportunity to develop skills within electronics manufacturingIf you are reliable, detail-oriented, and ready to work, we would love to hear from you!
