Teaching Assistant (EYFS / KS1) Location: Ulverston, Cumbria Start Date: Monday, 8th June Contract Type: Full-time, Temporary (Until the Summer Holidays) Salary: £92.89 - £115.89 per day (PAYE) About the Role Are you looking for a rewarding role to take you through to the summer? A warm, welcoming primary school in Ulverston is seeking an enthusiastic and nurturing Teaching Assistant to join their team starting Monday This is a full-time position working within EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) and KS1 (Key Stage 1). You will be playing a vital role in supporting young learners during their crucial early years of education, helping to foster a safe, engaging, and fun learning environment. Key Responsibilities: Supporting the class teacher in delivering creative and interactive lessons. Working 1:1 or in small groups with children to support their reading, writing, and foundational skills. Helping to manage classroom behaviour and encouraging positive social interaction. Creating a supportive environment where children feel confident and motivated to learn. What We Are Looking For: Experience: Previous experience working within an EYFS or KS1 setting is highly desirable. Qualifications: A relevant TA qualification (Level 2 or 3) is a plus, but a passionate and proactive attitude is essential. Skills: Excellent communication skills, patience, and a genuine love for working with younger children.
