Test Technician Chertsey £30,000 - £35,000 Test Technician urgently required to work for a leading manufacturing company based Near Woking. We are looking for experienced Technicians with a positive attitude to learning who can develop and enhance skills further. follow predefined test processes to deliver products through advanced and specialised experience, typically developed through a combination of job-related training and considerable on-the-job experience. Test Technician may carry out tasks such as. Leads and delivers in test activities following instructions and processes to ensure technology is delivered effectively, efficiently, on-time, to specification and in a cost effective manner. Performs/prepares test activities during product manufacturing. Electronics assembly inspection support. Use of standard bench top test equipment such as oscilloscopes, function generators, multimeters etc. Ability to fault find electronic circuits and assemblies to component level. Follows and communicates understanding of test procedures, processes and technical documentation. Works autonomously within established procedures and practices. Maintains manufacturing documentation to achieve full standards of traceability. Testing equipment 'Plug and Play' The ability to read from manufacturing drawings Assembly of electromechanical equipment with help of basic hand tools & following through Work instruction/schematics Keen in learning new skills Qualifications and Experience: Good GCSE grades or equivalent in English and Maths. ONC, HNC or equivalent in an electronic discipline essential. Comprehensive understanding of relevant IPC standards. General understanding of industry standards and regulations in order to ensure guidelines are followed and machinery and equipment are operated safety. Has developed proficiency in a range of processes or procedures through job-related training and considerable on-the-job expertise. Good attention to detail to allow you to maintain or exceed high levels of production/test standards and efficiency. Ability to fully contribute to the process of continuous improvements.
