Join our dedicated team as a Learning Support Assistant, where you will provide essential support to young people and adults with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). This role is pivotal in enabling learners to access educational programs and engage fully with college services and activities.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Provide high-quality, person-centred support to learners with a range of complex needs, including severe learning difficulties and disabilities.
• Enable learners to access and achieve within their educational programs and assist them in engaging with college services and activities.
• Support the development of learning/study skills and outcomes identified in their Educational Health & Care Plans (EHCPs).
• Offer personal care or mobility assistance to some learners, approaching each situation with sensitivity, respect, and dignity.
• Work with individuals or small groups, adapting your approach to meet diverse needs and encouraging learners to develop independence.
