Take charge of the pastry section, crafting beautiful desserts and baked goods that impress with flavour, texture, and presentation. Bring your creativity to every creation, ensuring each plate meets the highest standards of quality and consistency. Keep the pastry kitchen running smoothly by prepping, baking, and organising with precision so every service is effortless. Work closely with the kitchen team, communicating clearly to make sure every dish is ready at the right moment. Monitor ingredients and stock levels, making sure the pastry section is always ready for service. Support menu development by contributing fresh ideas, seasonal specials, and new dessert concepts. Follow all food safety and hygiene standards, ensuring every product is prepared and stored correctly. Assist in training junior team members, sharing skills and helping maintain high kitchen standards. Proven experience in a busy kitchen, ideally in a Pastry Chef de Partie role or similar.
