Reporting directly to General Manager, with a dotted line to the above property team, this is an exciting role for a talented individual who is looking for career growth and for the opportunity to open a Hotel in Mayfair, London
What we offer
• £60,000 + Service Charge + Bonus
• Permanent, full-time contract (40hrs per week)
As Director of Revenue, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a data-driven, systems-led revenue strategy that will maximise revenue and deliver strong financial performance. You will take full ownership of revenue systems including Opera PMS, Duetto RMS, and channel distribution platforms, ensuring accurate rate mapping, inventory control, and reservation flow across all channels.
As well as inventory management, analysing data, forecasting demand and looking for opportunities across all segments you will lead a small Reservations Team that includes a Reservations Manager.
The ideal candidate must have the following experience:
· Strong working knowledge of Opera PMS (essential)
· Advanced experience using Duetto (or equivalent RMS) to drive pricing strategy
· Proven experience in rate mapping, channel management, and distribution optimisation
· Deep understanding of reservations processes, booking flows, and inventory controls
· Worked in London, ideally in Mayfair or the West End
· 5 Star or Luxury experience
· Confident decision-maker able to challenge strategy with data-led insight
Responsibilities of the Director of Revenue will include but are not limited to:
· Developing and implementing revenue management strategies to maximize hotel revenue and profitability.
· Full ownership of the pre-opening revenue strategy, including the setup and configuration of all systems (Opera PMS, Duetto RMS, channel manager) from initial build through go-live
· Define opening strategy including positioning, launch pricing, and demand build
· Work closely with Sales, Marketing, and Leadership to align commercial strategy pre-launch
· Ensuring all pricing decisions are accurately reflected across Opera, Duetto and distribution channels
· Monitor inventory and room availability to ensure optimal distribution across all booking channels
· Maintain accurate room type mapping, rate parity, rate codes, and restrictions across all systems
· Working closely with sales, marketing and the Hotels distribution partner to drive business performance.
· Communicate and implement rate restrictions and sales strategies in line with seasonal and market trends.
· Utilizing revenue management systems (Duetto) and tools to forecast demand and adjust pricing strategies accordingly
· Own system configuration, optimisation, and data integrity within RMS and PMS platforms.
· Creating and analysing financial reports, including revenue forecasts, performance metrics, and market analysis.
· Full ownership of Opera PMS configuration relating to rates, availability, and reservations
· Oversee channel manager connectivity, ensuring correct mapping, rate parity, and inventory accuracy.
· Collaborating with hotel leadership to develop promotional offers and packages that drive revenue.
· Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, pricing accuracy, and overall revenue performance.
· Prepare for and lead a weekly Revenue Meeting, then communicate and action decisions made
· Position the Reservations function as a key revenue driver, with clear focus on conversion, upselling, and rate integrity
· Drive conversion, upselling, and revenue optimisation through the reservations function
· Ensure the team fully understands systems, rate structures, and selling strategies.
· Forge a close working relationship with the Front Office | Reception team to maximise revenue opportunities but also great guest engagement
· Produce a thorough ‘critique' each month that is authentic about what not just went well but also what could have been better – opportunities missed, learnings, mistakes and strategies that did not work
· Be commercially driven, detail-focused, and systems-oriented, demonstrate accountability for revenue performance and data accuracy, be confident in challenging decisions using data and insight, remain agile, solutions-focused, and collaborative across department
