About the role

The Company
Nigel Wright Tech are delighted to be working with an established software business in their search for a Database Developer.

The Role
Key responsibilities include:

Help to design and build solutions to supply tailored data reports to colleagues, customers and the wider business
Help to import and export data for internal and external clients
Carrying out tasks to support with the development of the company's in-house APIs and applications to maintain various datasets
Check for inaccuracies in data within the company's databases and find solutions to rectify problems promptly and correctly.
Perform basic maintenance tasks on the various databases and servers

The Requirements
Key requirements include:

Experience with using Microsoft SQL Server (2016 or later is preferred)
A strong understanding of relational databases
Good experience with ETL processes and tools
Some knowledge of cloud database technologies (Azure ideally)
Comfortable in carrying out some database maintenance tasks, including scheduling backups, monitoring database performance, monitoring hardware resources
