About Us: Briggs Equipment Group is a leading provider of material handling, powdered access, plant and specialist rental equipment offering new and used sales, short and long-term hire, engineering services, training and asset management, with operations across the UK and Ireland.
We have an exciting opportunity to join our Finance team as a Senior Finance Business Partner on a 12-month fixed-term contract , based in Cannock . This is a key role, partnering with stakeholders across the business to provide commercial insight, drive performance, and support strategic decision-making.
In this role, you will:
Provide financial insight into business performance, identifying trends, opportunities, and areas of expenditure challenge.
Analyse and review P&L, balance sheet, and KPI performance, offering guidance and constructive challenge to drive improved financial and operational outcomes.
Develop and enhance reporting and analysis tools, supporting greater automation and insight through platforms such as Power BI.
Partner with stakeholders to support effective decision-making and performance management.
Provide support to the Business Partnering Manager and deliver additional commercial analysis as required.
What will help you to excel in this role:
Professionally qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) or qualified by experience (QBE). Significant experience within a finance or commercial finance environment.
Strong ability to translate complex financial information into clear, meaningful insights for non-financial stakeholders.
Proven experience in financial modelling and commercial analysis to support business decision-making.
Advanced analytical skills with experience using business intelligence and reporting tools such as Excel, Power BI, and SQL.
Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the confidence to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
Commercially minded, with a proactive approach to driving performance and continuous improvement
