Early Years Practitioner – September 2026 Start
Location: Accrington
Full-Time
Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a welcoming and supportive primary school in the Accrington area, who are seeking to appoint a dedicated Early Years Practitioner to join their Early Years setting from September 2026. This role is to support a brand-new intake of pupils, making it a fantastic opportunity to help shape children’s first experiences of education.
The Role
Supporting children within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
Assisting with the delivery of engaging, play-based learning activities
Supporting the class teacher with observations, assessments and progress tracking
Creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment
Encouraging social, emotional and communication development
Working collaboratively with staff to support the needs of all pupils
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years / Childcare (or equivalent)
Experience working within an EYFS setting (school or nursery)
A strong understanding of the EYFS framework
A proactive, nurturing, and positive approach
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
A genuine passion for supporting early childhood development
