Freelance Quantity Surveyor Midlands / Aldermaston (Hybrid Working) Freelance Contract | Immediate Start We are currently recruiting for an experienced Freelance Quantity Surveyor to join a growing commercial team, supporting a major project based in Aldermaston. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially focused QS with strong NEC4 Option A experience to work on a long-term project while benefiting from a flexible working arrangement between site and the company's office in Wombourne. The Role * Managing the commercial aspects of a live project. * Administering and managing contracts under NEC4 Option A. * Cost reporting, forecasting and valuations. * Managing subcontractor accounts and payments. * Variations, compensation events and change management. * Working closely with the project and commercial teams to ensure commercial objectives are achieved. * Attending both the Aldermaston project site and the Wombourne office as required. Requirements * Proven experience working as a Quantity Surveyor on civil engineering or infrastructure projects. * Extensive knowledge of NEC4 Option A contracts is essential. * Strong commercial and contractual awareness. * Ability to work independently while supporting the wider commercial team. * Must be able to gain access to and travel to the Aldermaston project site. * Happy to split time between the Wombourne office and site, with flexibility around working days.
