Cardiac Radiographer - Band 6 Location: Stoke-On-Trent Pay Rate: £30 per hour (Direct Engagement) Hours: 37.5 hours per week Start Date: ASAP Contract: Ongoing Service Area: Cath Lab The Opportunity We are currently seeking an experienced Band 6 Cardiac Radiographer to join a busy and dynamic Cath Lab team in Stoke. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled radiographer with extensive cardiac imaging experience to work within a highly specialised clinical environment on an ongoing basis. Key Responsibilities Perform and support a range of Cath Lab imaging procedures. Operate specialised Philips imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images. Provide imaging support for: Coronary angiography TAVI procedures Fluoroscopy-guided cardiac interventions Other complex cardiac procedures Ensure patient safety, comfort, and care throughout all examinations and procedures. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records. Work collaboratively with cardiologists, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams. Adhere to NHS protocols, radiation protection regulations, and departmental policies. Essential Requirements HCPC registered Radiographer. Extensive experience working within a Cardiac Cath Lab environment. Strong knowledge of coronary angiography, TAVI, and fluoroscopy-guided procedures. Experience operating Philips imaging systems. Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of patient care and safety.
