About the Role You'll take responsibility for leading SEND provision across EYFS and Key Stage 1, ensuring children receive the right support from the very beginning of their educational journey. Your responsibilities will include: Leading and developing high-quality SEND provision across EYFS and KS1 Working closely with teachers, support staff, parents and external agencies Monitoring pupil progress and evaluating the effectiveness of interventions Supporting colleagues through coaching, advice and professional development Ensuring statutory SEND processes are completed to a high standard Driving inclusive practice across the school and contributing to strategic development Who We're Looking For We're keen to hear from teachers who are passionate about inclusion and committed to helping every child reach their full potential. The successful candidate will: Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Be an experienced SENDCO or an aspiring SEND leader currently completing (or preparing to undertake) the NASENCO qualification Have strong knowledge of SEND legislation and inclusive classroom practice Be confident working collaboratively with families, staff and external professionals Demonstrate excellent organisation, leadership and communication skills Be committed to achieving the very best outcomes for children with additional needs Why Join This School?
