Legal Counsel - Real Estate Investment Firm (Joint Ventures)

Our client, one of the world’s pre-eminent real estate investment managers with $100B AUM and over 4000 employees, is seeking to hire a lawyer within their stunning London office. The company has office locations around the world and has invested in nearly 2000 different real estate projects.

The Role

The firm is seeking to add an experienced Legal Counsel to the team in London. The role will advise on the full suite of corporate real estate transactions, with a particular focus on the various joint ventures the firm undertakes. In addition the role will advise on other SPVs, accounts, funds and work with the top tier global law firms as external counsel.

Candidate Requirements

• You will be a qualified solicitor with at least 6 years’ PQE, ideally with corporate / corporate real estate experience gained in a highly regarded law firm.
• Experience in structuring and negotiating real estate joint ventures and co-investment vehicles is essential.
• Experience of working with funds and various SPVs would be beneficial.
• As a commercial lawyer, you will be a strong team player with outstanding communication skills, an ability to influence and project manage multiple legal matters.
