Wood Machinist Pay: £18.00 per hour Location: Carrickfergus Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time Working Hours: Monday to Thursday: 8:00am 5:00pm Friday: 8:00am 1:00pm Role Overview We are recruiting on behalf of a client for an experienced Wood Machinist to join their workshop team in Carrickfergus.

This is a hands-on role involving the machining and preparation of timber products to precise specifications within a busy production environment.
Key Responsibilities Operating wood machining equipment (e.g.
saws, planers, spindle moulders) Machining timber to required sizes and finishes Reading and working from technical drawings and cutting lists Setting up and adjusting machinery for different production runs Ensuring quality control and accuracy of finished products Carrying out routine maintenance and basic machine checks Maintaining a clean and safe working environment Adhering to all health and safety procedures Requirements Previous experience xwzovoh as a Wood Machinist or similar role Strong knowledge of timber machining processes and machinery Ability to read technical drawings and measurements accurately Good attention to detail and quality standards Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team Awareness of workshop health and safety practices
