Job Title: Registered General Nurse (RGN) – Hospice / Community Location: Colchester, Essex Contract: Flexible / Bank & Part-Time Options Available Pay: £22 to £27 We are currently recruiting experienced and compassionate Registered General Nurses to join a highly regarded hospice in Colchester providing high-quality palliative and end-of-life care within the community and on the hospital ward. This is a fantastic opportunity for a nurse who is passionate about community care and wants flexible hours with excellent pay. Requirements: - Valid NMC PIN – RGN qualification essential - Previous experience working as a nurse in the community - Experience in palliative care / hospice / district nursing is highly desirable - Must be a driver - Excellent clinical skills, including symptom management, medication administration and holistic care planning - Compassionate, reliable, and able to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team - Up-to-date mandatory training and DBS (or willing to obtain) Key Duties: - Delivering high standards of nursing care to patients in their own homes and in the hospice - Supporting patients and their families with emotional, physical and practical needs - Working closely with GPs, district nurses, and other community professionals - Maintaining accurate clinical records What’s on Offer: - Flexible shifts to suit your availability – days, evenings, and weekends - Very competitive hourly rates - Mileage allowance - Supportive team and ongoing training opportunities - Opportunity for long-term, regular work If you are a dedicated RGN with community experience and a full UK driving licence, we would love to hear from you.
