Senior Building Surveyor (MRICS) City of London | Hybrid working | £80,000–£95,000 + performance bonus The opportunity would suit an experienced Senior Building Surveyor ready to progress, or an Associate-level surveyor who wants greater visibility and influence within a growing consultancy. The role Your work will include: Dilapidations, acting for both landlords and tenants Technical due diligence and pre-acquisition surveys Contract administration and project management Design, specifications and schedules of work Building pathology and defect diagnosis Reinstatement cost assessments Commercially focused reports and client advice Managing and developing key client relationships Supporting business development and networking Mentoring and supporting junior surveyors About you You will need: MRICS status A minimum of three years’ post-qualified experience Commercial building surveying experience gained within a private practice or consultancy Strong experience across both professional and project instructions Competence in dilapidations, technical due diligence, contract administration and defect diagnosis Excellent report-writing and communication skills A confident, credible and commercial client-facing approach An interest in business development and contributing to the growth of the practice The ability to manage instructions independently while working collaboratively with the wider team What’s on offer £80,000–£95,000, depending on experience Generous performance-related bonus Hybrid and flexible working Clear progression towards Associate Director 25 days’ annual leave plus bank holidays Private healthcare Contributory pension Professional membership fees Company iPhone and laptop This is an opportunity to move beyond simply delivering instructions and become an influential part of a growing commercial building surveying practice.
