Senior Associate - Treasury Settlement Location: London Salary: £29,500 per annum Job Type: Permanent Working Pattern: Full-time, Office Based An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Associate - Treasury Settlement to join the Treasury Settlement team of an established international banking organisation based in London. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with treasury operations or settlement experience looking to develop their career within a fast-paced wholesale banking environment. You will play a key role in supporting the settlement and administration of treasury and investment transactions, ensuring all activities are completed accurately, efficiently and in line with regulatory and internal procedures. Key Responsibilities Process and settle FX, Money Market and Treasury transactions. Verify SWIFT confirmations and deal tickets, ensuring timely completion of transactions. Monitor and maintain Nostro account positions across major currencies. Produce daily treasury reports, position reports and reconciliations. Process fund transfers between Nostro accounts. Support floating rate loan updates, including bilateral loans and MTNs. Prepare and distribute SWIFT payment instructions and confirmations. Complete daily, monthly and regulatory reporting requirements. Calculate and process initial and variation margin payments. Process brokerage payments and maintain supporting documentation. Support the administration of the investment portfolio, including bond and securities settlements. Reconcile investment positions and Euroclear accounts. Liaise with internal stakeholders, counterparties and international offices to ensure smooth settlement of transactions. Maintain accurate records and ensure all documentation is filed in accordance with internal procedures. Assist with continuous process improvements and ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements. Skills & Experience Required Previous experience within Treasury Operations, Treasury Settlement, Investment Operations or Banking Operations. Good understanding of treasury products, securities, bonds, derivatives and money market products. Strong working knowledge of SWIFT messaging, including MT202, MT300, MT320, MT541, MT543 and MT210. Experience with treasury settlement processes and reconciliations. Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent attention to detail with the ability to work accurately under pressure. Strong communication and relationship-building skills. Ability to prioritise workloads and meet strict deadlines. Experience working within a regulated banking environment is highly desirable.
