Cnc Turner Programmer Setter Operator

CNC TURNER PROGRAMMER We are recruiting for an experienced CNC Turner to work for our client who are located in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire. Our client is a long established Precision Engineering company that produces a wide variety of high-quality machined components that currently have an opening for a skilled CNC TURNER Programmer, Setter, Operator to join our small friendly team. We support several ‘Blue Chip’ customers across the country with their precision component requirements. Main accountabilities: To programme, set and operate Turning Centres with Fanuc control. Experience with other control systems would be considered. Key skills: - Previous programming, setting & operating experience producing 1 off’s & small batches in a wide range of materials, including exotics. - Quality checking your own work using micrometers, bore mic’s, etc. - Reading engineering drawings. - Working to tight tolerances. ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCES & SKILLS: * Minimum 3 years' experience working within a high precision manufacturing background or Apprentice trained * Experience producing high quality one offs and small batches * Excellent communication skills THE HOURS: You will be working days 39 hours a week Mon – Thurs: 7am – 5.15pm Overtime Available. THE PAY / BENEFITS: You will earn an hourly rate of £18 min 257 hrs holiday (includes stats) 4 day working week Overtime when required at x1.5 Working in a modern/ clean environment.
