Quality Inspector

We are seeking a meticulous Quality Inspector to join the team, the ideal candidate will ensure that our products meet the highest quality standards through detailed inspections and analysis. Job Description: * Inspection of goods in, goods out, sub contract work and all purchased parts, ensuring compliance to requirements before release * In process and finished goods inspection * Logging direct activities onto ERP system * Communication of quality failures to relevant department and managers * Carrying out audits * Undertake First Article Inspection Reports activities in accordance with internal processes * Calibration of measuring equipment * To support the supply chain to both internal and external customers * Signing first and last inspection reports * Reporting of non-conforming parts and ensuring containment is completed * To ensure zero defects reach end user Person Specification: * Previous quality experience in a manufacturing environment * Experience using verniers, micrometers, PI tapes and CMM or FARO is essential * Work on your own and as part of a team Hours of Operation: * Monday to Thursday, 07:00 - 16:45 whilst undergoing training * Once trained shifts will be 7pm – 7am Mon – Thurs with a shift allowance of 36.29% (taking salary to £43,000 per annum) Additional Information: * Pension – Match up to 6% * Production performance bonus each quarter Benefits: * Company pension * Free parking * On-site parking
