Assembly Operative 📍 Salford Priors, Evesham 💷 £13.56 per hour 🕒 Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 3:00pm or 8:30am – 4:30pm 📄 Temporary to Permanent Opportunity 🚗 Full UK Driving Licence Required We are currently recruiting for an Assembly Operative to join a well-established manufacturing business based in Salford Priors, near Evesham. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous assembly, manufacturing, production, or mechanical fitting experience who is looking for a long-term position with the potential to secure a permanent contract. Key Responsibilities Assembling mechanical components and sub-assemblies using hand and power tools Reading and following assembly instructions, engineering drawings, and work orders Fitting, aligning, and securing parts to required specifications Conducting quality checks throughout the assembly process Using measuring equipment to ensure accuracy and compliance with specifications Reporting faults, defects, or production issues to supervisors Assisting with material handling and movement of components around the workshop Supporting other manufacturing and production departments when required Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment Adhering to all company procedures and Health & Safety regulations Requirements Previous experience within an assembly, manufacturing, production, engineering, or mechanical environment Confident using hand and power tools Ability to follow technical instructions and drawings Good attention to detail and commitment to quality standards Reliable, punctual, and able to work both independently and as part of a team Full UK driving licence and access to your own transport are essential due to the location FLT Counterbalance licence would be advantageous but is not essential What's on Offer? £13.56 per hour Monday to Friday working pattern Choice of shifts: 7:00am – 3:00pm or 8:30am – 4:30pm Friendly and supportive team environment Full training provided Opportunity to secure a permanent position following a successful temporary periodInterested?
