Description
The key responsibilities for this Project Engineer role will be:
Plan, coordinate, and oversee engineering projects within the production environment.
Ensure projects meet safety, quality, and operational standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project execution.
Support the BAU running of the department involving machine maintenance, breakdowns and repair.
Drive and lead on automation projects within the engineering department.
Prepare and maintain project documentation and reports.
Support troubleshooting and provide technical guidance as needed.
Ensure compliance with regulatory and industry standards.
Identify and implement process improvements for efficiency and effectiveness.Profile
The successful Project Engineer should have:
Relevant qualifications in engineering or a related field.
Experience working in the manufacturing sector.
Strong project management and organisational skills.
Experience of automation projects.
Ability to collaborate effectively with different teams.
Knowledge of safety and compliance regulations within the engineering sector.
Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.Job Offer
Hourly pay ranging from £27.00 to £35.00, dependent on the level of experience. Inside IR35.
Temporary contract for an initial 6 month period.
