Job Title: Shunter Driver Permanent Nights Location:Runcorn Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off Permanent Nights Salary: £36,724.80 per annum Night Shift Premium of £3,084.88 We are currently recruiting for an experienced Shunter Driver to join a well-established and fast-paced production and distribution operation based in Runcorn.

This is an excellent opportunity to secure a permanent night shift role within a nationally recognised manufacturing environment.

The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth movement of trailers across site, supporting warehouse and logistics operations in a busy 24/7 environment.

Key Responsibilities: Moving trailers safely and efficiently around the yard and loading bays Coupling and uncoupling trailers in line with site procedures Ensuring trailers are positioned correctly for loading and unloading Carrying out vehicle and trailer safety checks Liaising with warehouse, transport, and operational teams to maintain workflow Supporting site health and safety standards at all times Reporting defects, damages, or operational issues promptly Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe yard environment Requirements: Previous experience as a Shunter Driver or Yard Driver is essential Valid HGV Class 1 (CE) licence preferred Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card preferred Strong understanding of health and safety within a logistics or manufacturing environment Ability to work independently and as part of a team Reliable xwzovoh with a strong work ethic and attention to detail Comfortable working permanent night shifts on a 4 on 4 off rotation Whats on Offer: Permanent full-time opportunity Competitive annual salary with additional night shift premium Stable shift pattern offering excellent work-life balance Opportunity to join a highly respected and fast-paced operation On-site parking and company benefits package Immediate interviews and starts available for suitable candidates.
