Birmingham

On offer is the opportunity for a Trainee Welder with a level 3 in Advanced Welding or similar to join a long-standing independent steam specialist, gaining advanced welding and fabrication skills whilst supporting a wide range of industrial customers, providing high-quality steam boiler repairs, installations, inspections and support from minor valve issues to full turnkey industrial steam boiler projects.

In this role, as a Trainee Welder for heavy plate engineering, you will carry out repairs to industrial steam boilers across customer sites across the UK. This includes re-tubing of boilers, cutting out and completing D-patch repairs, tube plate replacement and coded welding of pipework/vessels.

This role would suit a Trainee Welder with a Level 3 in advanced Welding or similar, with preferable experience with Stick or MMA welding or relevant experience with heavy plate welding. You will also require a full UK driving license.

The role:

• Install and Repair Industrial Steam Boilers
• Sitck/MMA welding on Heavy Plate machinery
• Site Travel, 7:30 to 4:00
