Technical Author | Defence Engineering UK-Based | Some UK Travel Required | SC Clearance Needed Are you a technically minded professional with a passion for turning complex engineering information into clear, structured documentation? We’re looking for a Technical Author to join a specialist team supporting high-profile defence programmes. This is a unique opportunity to work hands-on with advanced mechanical systems and contribute directly to mission-critical projects. As a Technical Author, you’ll work closely with engineers, designers, and subject matter experts to produce high-quality technical documentation. You’ll play a key role in translating complex engineering data, including drawings and standards, into clear, usable content for end users and stakeholders. Support documentation across customer sites, including occasional overseas travel Mechanical and/or Engineering background Excellent written English and attention to detail Strong collaboration skills within multi-skilled teams Practical experience with MS Office and documentation tools Opportunity to travel and work directly with customers Eligible to obtain UK Security Check (SC) clearance
