About the Role
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Head of Service / Service Manager / Operations Manager to lead high-quality women’s services within a well-established, trauma-informed organisation.
This senior leadership role combines strategic development and operational management, with a key focus on women’s homelessness, housing provision, safeguarding, and service delivery.
Working closely with the CEO, you will play a pivotal role in driving performance, quality, and growth across services supporting women affected by violence, exploitation, and complex needs.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and develop women’s services, including housing and homelessness provision
* Drive safeguarding, compliance, governance, and quality assurance
* Oversee service performance, KPIs, outcomes, and reporting
* Manage and develop staff, embedding a trauma-informed culture
* Build partnerships with local authorities, commissioners, and funders
* Lead on tenders, funding bids, and service development
Requirements
* Experience in a senior leadership role (Head of Service / Service Manager / Registered Manager level)
* Strong knowledge of safeguarding, CQC/Ofsted (or equivalent), and compliance frameworks
* Background in VAWG, homelessness, supported housing, or complex needs services
* Proven ability in partnership working, stakeholder management, and commissioning
* Experience in income generation, tenders, or contract management
* Excellent communication, leadership, and report writing skills
