Teacher of Science - Secondary School Location: Doncaster Start Date: ASAP Contract Type: Temporary Salary: Competitive daily rate, dependent on experience Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher of Science to join a welcoming secondary school in Doncaster on a temporary basis with an immediate start. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate Science teacher to inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering engaging lessons that support academic achievement and foster a love of science. Key Responsibilities Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality Science lessons in line with the national curriculum. Teach Science across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, with the ability to teach Biology, Chemistry, or Physics. Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student engagement and achievement. Assess, monitor, and record student progress, providing constructive feedback to support learning. Differentiate teaching strategies to meet the needs of all learners. Maintain high standards of classroom management and behaviour. Contribute to departmental planning and school initiatives where required. Ensure safeguarding policies and procedures are followed at all times. Requirements Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), PGCE, or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification. Experience teaching Science within a UK secondary school setting. Strong subject knowledge across the Science curriculum. Excellent classroom management and communication skills. A commitment to raising standards and improving student outcomes. An enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one. The right to work in the UK.
